Adam's MRI

We woke up at 6:30 today to get an MRI on Adams back (x-ray results said there were irregularities and so the doctor ordered a closer look) because he is so young (and scared of everything) they had to sedate him, that was an experience... We kept him distracted while they put the IV in but he still got pretty mad. After they put the fluids and medicine in I held him and in two min. he was heavy as a rock!

The MRI took an hour and a half and Adam woke up twice! They said his body kicked the medicine too fast haha. They also said when he woke up he started crying with his hand in the air pointing, but they gave him more medicine and he went back to sleep. When they were done we had to try waking him up, they suggested a Popsicle to wake him up so we put it on his lips and he started to eat it, Matt would take it away to get him to open his eyes but instead he would just search for it with his mouth like a 3 month old and when he couldn't find it he started sucking on the blue tape on his hand... I couldn't stop laughing at how he reminded me of Payton.
we let him eat the Popsicle but he still wouldn't open his eyes.
Now he is awake and pretty much back to his old self except for the occasional wobble or yell about something a little irrational.

We find out the results on Friday.
