One time she was fussy so I took her out and was holding her when an old man came up to me and started talking to me telling me how pretty she was, I just smiled and said thank you and turned to walk away but he turned with me and then out of nowhere kissed Payton on the head! I was just shocked that some stranger would do that, I had no idea how to react so I smiled and slowly walked away.
Today I was getting stocking stuffer's when I hear a voice behind me say " Oh She Is Beautiful!" I turn around and there is a woman with her husband and they are just starring at Payton with smiles on their faces.. Again I say thank you and smile at Payton, Payton smiles back and that's when I hear the shrieking (when she smiles its just a riot) ha ha. A few min later I see out of the corner of my eye another couple, the woman stops dead in her tracks and grabs her husbands arm pointing to Payton, "Look at that beautiful baby!" "She is so pretty" Its not offensive in any way I love that people think my baby is as great as I think she is but its just funny at how babies can make people act.

I have the same problem with my kids. I am super protective as well. I have actually asked people not to touch my babies before, or if they do as soon as they are out of sight I pull out the wipes and wipe off where ever they touched...ha ha!
The funny thing is, I have more problem with people touching here in Utah. In California people would comment and look but not touch. It was much nicer :)
We have that problem too. It was the worst in Hawaii. SO many people would come up to Malias and some even took pictures with him!!! We Chabots just know how to make cute babies, I think. ha ha ha
